Learn Spanish Online Hub is a small independent site. One person writes the lessons, a native speaker checks them, and there is no team behind it pretending otherwise.

Who writes it

A learner rather than a native speaker, writing the course they wanted when they started. That is a real limitation and it is why the review below exists rather than being an afterthought.

How a lesson gets made

Each day is written to the same shape: three groups of phrases, each closing with an explanation of the mechanism rather than a restatement of the rule, one culture note, four lines carried forward from that day, and eight questions of which at least one has to be typed rather than picked from a list.

Typing an answer is harder than choosing one and that is the point. Recognition is not recall, and a course made entirely of multiple choice questions will make you feel fluent without making you fluent.

Native speaker review

Not finished. Every Spanish item is going through a native speaker review before this site leaves beta, and until that is signed off nothing here claims to be checked. If you find an error, send it in and it gets fixed the same week, with credit if you want it.

Which Spanish

Latin American Spanish is the default, because it is the larger market, the larger population and the variety most English speakers will meet first. Where Spain differs in a way that matters, the switch at the top of the lesson shows it. The clearest differences, the c and z sound and the vosotros form, are taught explicitly rather than quietly ignored.

Why there is no audio for every phrase

Recorded audio for a ninety day course means a booth, a voice actor and a budget, and doing it badly is worse than not doing it. The pronunciation page and the review deck use your device's Spanish voice, which is honest about what it is. Recorded audio is on the list, after the review.
